Daughter of the Duke and the Duchess of Edinburgh and Koburg –Alfred and Maria Alexandrovna, and grand daughter of the English Queen Victoria.  A princess by origin, a queen of Romania as a result of her marriage with Prince Ferdinand Victor Albert Meinred de Hohenzolern / 1865-1927/. A model for a wife and a mother of six children, a favorite of her nationals because of her goodness. Always smiling, stylish and beautiful, Maria has gotten the applauses everywhere except in her private life.
