The marvelous town, turned south, was located at pale cream-coloured hills with a palace and an inspiring garden of a former but real queen. There were a port, a hospital, a post office, a gallery, ateliers of painters together with a place for dreaming, housed on the top floor of an ex-mill almost at the beach, with a fish market in front of the mill. A coastal street with hotels and the feeling of something hopeless and gone forever. Something keeping the memory of other superior times of a prosperous trade, artists, intellectuals of the Baha’ism, of the deserted nowadays wheat, of unabled of heights expectation, limited to holiday-makers from the country and abroad nearby, outdated artists and simple and monotonous festivals. There was a temple too. This town became for me a place for dedication in the highest love feelings and their transformation into art.
